Instructure Learning Management System (LMS)
The curriculums associated with the training programs delivered by AHDPG are housed in a learning management system called Instructure. The Instructure system is a web-based system that allows AHDPG’s Instructors administrative access to create, update, and administer each program. In addition, student access to the instructor system via the Internet to complete their work and assignments and receive feedback from their Instructors. Core features of the Instructure Learning Platform™ include:
- A robust virtual learning environment with course management, a gradebook, and a complete set of administrative tools.
- Integrated communication tools for email, instant messaging, video conferencing, discussion boards, and voice communication. The system is fully integrated with Google™ Gmail, as well as Microsoft-based email and Office Apps.
- Full mobile interface that delivers courses to students via any mobile device and allows students to view multimedia resources, take tests, and deliver assignments from anywhere.
Zoom/Google Meets
AHDPG leverages Zoom/Google Meets for a variety of purposes including meetings with healthcare organizations and individual students, new program orientations, one-on-one student interactions, technical support sessions, and internal team meetings.
Communication Methods
Students and instructors may communicate by telephone, email, Instructure integrated messaging system, or Zoom/Google Meets.
